Hi. We are Mark and Lisa Smagner, the owners of The Grumpy Goat Brewing Company, a veteran owned and operated brewery in southeast Michigan. After our careers took us around the United States, we finally landed in Monroe. Here we took up home brewing, and it wasn't long before we discovered we could make some pretty damn good beer. Before we knew it, our passion evolved into a business dream: to open our own local brewery. We couldn't be happier to say our dream found a home in Frenchtown Charter Township. We look forward to providing delicious craft beer, fantastic food, and a friendly atmosphere where folks won't mind spending a few hours with friends and family.
